Here's Our First Look At Need For Speed Payback Gameplay
The first trailer for Need for Speed Payback showed off the thrills and spills of the 23rd instalment in the NFS series, and we’ve been eager to see official gameplay footage.
Now, we’ve had our first glimpse of actual NFS Payback gameplay in an EA Play and E3 trailer, showcasing the main characters of the game – the crew, made up of Tyler, Jess and Mac – in action.
‘The Highway Heist’ is a major moment in the game’s single player campaign, as the crew takes on the all-controlling cartel called ‘The House’. It definitely has a GTA V/Fast and Furious vibe, right?
You can explore the open world of Fortune Valley, and the city of Silver Rock, when NFS Payback is released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 10 November.
And if you missed it, check out the first gameplay footage from Forza Motorsport 7, which has also just dropped.

Stiller wondering why the RTR mustang is so slow
or how the truck is stunningly fast
that thing turns at 180kmh without rolling over
It doesnt want to shift to 5th too
But still its just a demo
“This game sucks!” ~Underground fanboys
Let the triggered come at me!
Underground, Most Wanted, Forza, GT, Drive club, The Crew fans… Well I’d say any petrolhead / car enthusiast will say that based on what we know, this is not going to be nice.
Well this looks promising since, unlike the previous one, we can also play in the daytime. I like it but I only wish that it has good game physics when the game is released.
and it looks extremely promising
Apparently we have a different understanding of promising then. All I see is a game that looks like any other NFS since 2010 and the cars seem to handle exactly like they did in the 2015 NFS (which is anything but a compliment) and physics that are a joke even for an EA game. “Just add new cars and more lens flare, camera shake and motion blur just to be sure, then the people will buy it anyway.”
Finally ! I’m not the only one anymore.
You might have triggered a lot of kids on this website with that statement btw (which is 100% true in all honesty)
This game is all graphics and sparks and lens flare and everything threw at the eyes of the player. “Hey look, we don’t care how bad it drives, but here’s a slow mo of the opponent you just crashed”
Child! With the power that our lord granted I give you the ability to not buy!!
Agreed, it’s also got similar gameplay with following cars and smashing other cars.
You are aware that the gameplay shown in the trailer is how the game looks at that point right? The same is with NFS 2015 and every other game: It doesnt mean thats how it will be in the final game.
The games release date is still months away. What youre doing is judging a painting while the artist is still adding the final touches
Before common haters come i have to say, stop being such crybabies. You wanted singleplayer here you go; more customization BAM you got it… What in the damned world bothers you so much??? Physics? Well it is nfs so you better get used to it. (Well im kinda dissapointed about the damage models but whatever… i guess)
Oh also you can simply not buy it… better start reinstalling nfsu2.
Ps. To be honest i also didnt like the crew like class system..
more customization? It looks exactly like 2015.
Yes, we should absolutley accept subpar handling and give into our overlord EA. NFS does not need to be realistic, but ever since Criterion and the Burnout physics got involved the games have no longer been fun. I wish they’d stop using them, but as is quite evident from the trailer, they are not going to.
FFS KILL THAT BRAKE TO DRIFT ONCE FOR ALL
Brake drift exsist IRL
You can actually turn that off this demo had brake to drift on.
once again; it’s gonna suck. and I don’t mean in a good way.. ..
A bit late don’t you think lol. Us hardcore fans watched it the second it was released.
I quite like it. It is overly cinematic with too much slow motion and stuff. It’s like Call of Duty campaign but with cars
And this comment section is full of people complaining
Dat Incredible Chadkake was right
It’s not ug3, so it’s intstaltly bad. It’s so sad that when a dev actually listens to its fans, the fans s* on them as much as they can, ignoring the fact that we could be getting another rivals instead of a game with the potential to be good. The NFS community makes me sick.
This is what f&f should had done in the last 3 movies
why? it’s exactly the same as this.
