An artist has decided to swap gymnasts for Pontiacs in his amazing Auto Aerobics series
Demonstrating his interest in 60s and 70s cars, Chris Labrooy created these stunning renderings using 1968 Pontiac Bonnevilles.
Set in Brookyln, New York, the Pontiacs can be seen ducking and diving between each other in some surreal panel-bending aerobics.
Labrooy said New York City was his inspiration for the artwork, with an edgy Brooklyn basketball court providing the perfect location for what he dubs “wow images".
He hopes the pictures will “amaze” viewers. Chris is also planning to somehow turn these images into a physical piece of work, which will be mind-boggling if he can pull it off. However, we’re not sure that the cutting and bending of iconic Pontiacs would create such a positive response from yank tank fans...
