buy an e39 m5 or e46 m3, make sure to get a manual. Since you won’t have another japanese car, buy either of those two.

you should buy a german super saloon or one of the ancestors a 190 Evo 2 for instance or a C63 with the 6.2l engine…or a tuned V10 RS6

only the 6.5 turbo diesels pre ‘94 were reliable.

Correct, although these were not turbodiesels — these were naturally aspirated diesels. My gas engine is actually more powerful than these, and it has more torque. A reliable turbodiesel Hummer didn’t come out until at least 2001.
