Here's Your First Look At The New Volvo V90
Here is the new Volvo V90, the latest car in Volvo’s revamped model range. The Swedish manufacturer’s Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) underpins all its new cars, starting with the glorious XC90 and, more recently, the delightfully swoopy S90 saloon.
We’ve loved the Scandinavians’ new design language so far, which has taken the traditional Volvo values of sturdiness and modernised them into a more upmarket, luxurious appearance. This new V90 is a pretty big deal for Volvo, as its wagons have achieved cult status, and are the best selling cars in its homeland.
Design-wise, the front end clearly wears the new family face, with the ‘Thor’s Hammer’ headlights and a grille with the Volvo logo spearing through. Inside you can expect more of the same classy, minimalist design seen on the rest of the range.
Thanks to that SPA, it’s pretty easy to speculate on what engines to expect, with 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engines sporting variations of turbocharging and hybridisation to differentiate trim levels, as well as the D4 and D5 diesel engines.
The Volvo V90 will make its debut at the Geneva motor show in March.

Gorgeous :O
Looks a bit like the 5 series, but wow, what a beautiful car!
What cars will it rival?
A6 Avant, 5er Touring and E class are closest, but Volvo will be bigger
Look in the mirror to the left of the car, the guy that took the pictures probably wont have a job by monday.
Yep I want one. Really nice car.
Looks like a BMW 5-er.
this will have to be black, otherwise the rear will look strange
i love volvo. but i do not like this wagon. it went too far from the old designe. and yes times change. but i dont like the angled rear window to the flat back hood. but i love the rear sits that have head rests for kids and for adults. (at least it looks like that). lets see what polestar can do :D
Why do I think the rearlights are very simular to the 2016 Renault megane gt
