Hot Or Not: BMW 2-Series Active Tourer
BMW's new front-drive 2-series Active Tourer marks a radical change in the brand's line-up. But is it hot or not?
The unthinkable has happened: BMW has made a front-wheel drive car. Not only that, but the car in question - the new 2-Series Active Tourer - has a tall, MPV-style body. We're not sure BMW could have upset its hardcore fans more if it tried.
But is the 2-series AT such a bad thing? It should handle well and be good to drive. Plus, if you opt for the 227bhp 225i it'll be decently quick, with a respectable 0-62mph time of 6.8 seconds.
The question is, though, is the new car hot or not?
Growing up on a diet of World Rally Championship highlights and lengthy Gran Turismo 2 sessions, a life in cars was as good as inevitable for Matt.
