I’m so used to front license plates that i have no idea why people have a problem with them :D of course here the bumpers are manufactured in a way that they blend in better with the shape of the car

Not centering the plate makes it look 10x worse than displaying it like any normal person would.

My solution, 2 zip ties behind the passenger visor. Good visibility, can hide it, easy.

I this even legal? In Germany you have specific rules how to attach it. But this is a very nice speed cam protection.

That’s a sick C4! Don’t care about the number plate. However, I will say that going over a speed bump would probably ruin the plate.

if I were forced to use this (thanks for not forcing this law, Florida :D), I would find a way to wire it up so that it folds out when I start my car and folds back in when I turn it off (with the ability to have a manual override just in case).

I wonder if you could use the screen flip-up mechanism out of an old/busted DVD head unit..?

In New York i got pulled over with my plate in the windshield on the first day i had the car! it wasn’t on the front because i didnt have any means of mounting it seeing that the car was from another state that did not require it. aggravatingly enough after telling this to the officer and him running my plates to find that this was true, he still have me a fix it ticket for the window tint and said “im helping you out by doing this”. I was 17 (20 now) at the time and too afraid to argue back so i sucked it up. a week later the same officer pulled me over for going 5 over, and have me a ticket for an incorrect speedometer, which costed me $200( i had over sized tires so it read the wrong speed). And he said the same thing! what a (insert better words here)!

In PA, they’re not really allowed to pull you over for going 5 over or less because of A. your spedo possibly not being correct and B. their radars not being accurate within 5 mph. (we all know that’s not the case, but when they wrote the law, it was.)

Also, PA doesn’t require front plates, and if you see someone with them, they’re generally vanity plates or someone that, idk, must like the look or something. Lots of novelty plates, though, and I even have one on my car, but it’s not exactly a high performance show car. Those are a great way to personalize a car and make it your own.

Ludacris mentioned this back in 2003 in the song ‘Act A Fool’ from 2 Fast 2 Furious. “I’m supercharged with the hide-away license plate”
