New Top Gear aired last night at 8pm in the UK, and unsurprisingly, it's been a massive talking point (both good and bad). So my question to you now is this: how did you rate it out of 10?
First off, I may have missed something but I was expecting to see Chriss Harris in there. Chris Evans annoyed me. It was as if he was trying to be Clarkson but at the same time was trying not to be him (confusing phrasing on my part). LeBlanc was cool minus the lame intro.
Chris evans trying to get people to clap in the star in a rally car ( shi segment BTW) was cringeworthy

The cars were not my cup of tea
It’s not like people overseas can get it by paying any way, really it makes no difference to any economy anywhere how they watch it
Generally, they have to do more stupid sh*t and Matt to get a little bit more excited. Also, they need to stop these crowd interactions cause it really looks stupid. Liked extra gear probably because of Harris’ and Rory’s natural charm. Liked Sabine’s part just because she’s cool and all. I’ll give it a shot and see if in the episodes to come they sort it out.
I did not watch it because of that Evans pr!ck. Never seen him drive a car like the real boyz
I really dont see why everyone gives the new TG such bs. I mean, i am NOT spending £80 a year to watch Clarkson & Co on Amazon. I mean, i always thought that TG needed an update becauae they kept the old format formover 10 years. I think that this new series is the well needed update that TG needed…. For me, the show would be in the region of ≥7/10
I’m waiting for it to air tonight on BBC America! I hope it’s good!!
Extra Gear looks like it’ll have more promise than Top Gear.
Matt is funny and seems great out and about, but in the studio fell a little flat. Chris needs to let the crowd watch and react naturally, it’s like watching a terrible stage show where the “he’s behind you” gag goes on for far too long.
Chris and Rory seemed slightly awkward, but I think that’s down to the studio layout. Give it a season to smooth out, then have this poll again
