New Top Gear aired last night at 8pm in the UK, and unsurprisingly, it's been a massive talking point (both good and bad). So my question to you now is this: how did you rate it out of 10?
I would give the new top gear 4/10, but extra gear gets 7/10 :)
Was enjoyable, chris evans should settle into his role more over the next few weeks and hopefully seem more natural. Matt’s perfect for this generation of top gear. I feel like extra gear should be technical and fact focused, starting with a great piece on the new track but then having a seemingly pointless celebrity interview? Perhaps interviewing car community celebraties from race drivers to even internet celebrities like carthrottle staff, paul from SOL, Shmee, STG, etc etc.
Top gear should be entertainment, extra gear feels like it should be a more mature yet equally fun discussion.
Looking forward to seeing the season evolve; 7/10
i think it was alright for a first attempt. I enjoyed Matt LeBlanc’s presentation of the Ariel Nomad. Chris Evans was ok I guess. But I liked Extra Gear, it was very straight forward (mostly because it was just the news, a quick review of the nomad by chris harris on the top gear track and some behind the scenes stuff).
Its only been the first episode of the new series. As far as I remember, the original Clarkson and May Top Gear episodes back in 2002 started off similarly. We’ll see how the rest of the season goes :)

If LeBlanc wasnt one of the presenters Id give it -100/10
I’m hoping that the show is like cheese…it matures over time
I haven’t even seen it cuz our channel provider sucks at giving good channels.. :/

3/10 - 1) Matt is a cool guy and has a dry sense of humour that unfortunately Chris E ruins. 2) I actually smiled at the intro of the stig in the truck, it had a very, very slight reminiscence of how Jeremy n co played him, in sudden random places for comedic effect. Clumsy but a slight smile, the only one the show got. 3) in Extra gear, Chris Harris in the Nomad. You could tell he loved it, and was genuinely excited, describing the parts and driving, unlike every other line he was forced to play. I miss CHOC, Chris H deserves better.
Chris E is exactly what everyone predicted, and Rory is awful. Sabine is just Sabine, she doesn’t actually form an integral part of the format, Harris or even Rory could do what she did in the Vette and better. I wanted to see her or Chris H do some hot laps. That’s my tuppence worth!
