How Expensive Can You Make A 918 Spyder? Porsche's Configurator Is Calling You
Great news, fans of procrastination; Porsche has released its configurator for the all-new 918 Spyder hypercar. Whether or not you can afford the $845,000 list price (£657,400 in the UK), it's a great way to kill some time. With a bit of playing about, we quite easily managed to add a massive $150,405 in options...
As is usually the case with a car like this, there are some crazily expensive boxes for you to tick. Want a 'Liquid Metal Silver' paint scheme? That'll be $63,000. Magnesium wheels? A cool $32,500. Fancy some pretty stripes on your seat belts? Be prepared to set aside $1800 for those. A cup holder is a free option, at least.

Porsche's 918 Spyder kicks out a combined 875bhp from its 4.6-litre V8 plus two electric motors, which are powered by a plug-in hybrid system. Production starts on 18th September and is limited to 918 units (see what they did there?)
