How Would You Spec Your Ideal Aston Martin Vantage?
If you were hoping to get something productive done today, we have some bad news: the configurator for the new Aston Martin Vantage is now live. And hot damn, are there a lot of cosmetic options to choose from.
There are 30 separate ‘AM Palette’ colours to choose from - including the vibrant ‘Lime Essence’ finish seen in the reveal images - and a further 11 ‘Q Palette’ hues on offer. Things like the door mirrors and brake callipers can be specced in myriad colours, plus you can pick a particular finish for the grille surround, and even the grille insert material itself.
There are no prices just yet (the configurator is “intended as a guide only”), but with all those trim choices plus equipment options like premium sound systems and fancier seats available, it won’t be hard to inflate the Vantage’s £120,900 base price.
Our first attempt is finished predominantly in ‘China Grey’, enhanced with a ‘Lime Essence’ graphics pack and a crap load of carbonfibre. On the inside, we opted for brown. Lots of brown. And a little more carbon, of course.
As is customary when a manufacturer launches a configurator for its fancy sports car/supercar, we’re now handing the reigns to you. See what you can come up with, and make sure you share a few screen grabs in the comments!

Heres a small taste of what i cooked up.
This is my first attempt with the new Vantage configurator. It’s a classic James Bond styled car with some splashes of orange inspired by the DBR9 race car. In other word a car inspired by the best of Aston Martin. I will most likely try to do another one tomorrow.
