A bus driver in Chelmsford has a lot of explaining to do after unintentionally giving the double decker bus he was driving a roof chop. The incident happened during the evening rush hour yesterday when the driver miscalculated the height of a bridge outside Chelmsford train station.

Not heeding the clearly signaled height limit, the driver clearly kept his foot in as the bridge ripped the roof off like a tin of sardines. Fortunately it appears that the top deck was empty of passengers.
