The Humdinga Is The World's Fastest And Most Badass Amphibitruck

This 'amphibitruck' has been adapted to provide tsunami and flood relief to Asia. It's also properly cool and immensely fast

This is the Humdinga, an 'amphibitruck' that's made by the same company that also makes the Quadski, which you'll remember from Top Gear last week.

The Humdinga is being used to provide tsunami and flood relief to Asia and can be driven off road, with all four wheels powered by a 300hp turbocharged diesel engine. It'll reach normal highway speeds, so its water-tight modifications don't hold it back.

Once on the water, the wheels retract and a jet propulsion system is engaged. The Humdinga does without an outboard engine to allow it to access shallow water, critical in flood-hit areas. Out on the wet stuff, it'll do an impressive 30mph; compared to the next fastest amphibious truck's 9mph top speed, that's a whole 21mph faster.
