French footballer M'Baye Niang's Ferrari 458 was wrecked by an unknown driver over the weekend.

The 19-year-old, on loan at Montpellier from AC Milan, was not behind the wheel at the time of the high speed smash. French newspaper Le Parisien reports that he was not taken into police custody.

Witnesses claim the car was travelling at high speed when it hit a tree.
