If You've Just Restored An Alfa Giulietta Spider, Don't Upset Your Hammer-Wielding Other Half
Believe it or not, this beautiful 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider was only recently given an incredibly thorough restoration. Now though, every panel is dented or marked in multiple places.
There's trim missing, what looks like a burn on the passenger side front wing, and even some of the dials have been smashed up. According to the classifieds advert: 'this car underwent a strong restoration but as a result of an ugly divorce it has received a few bruises and scratches.' It's up for $32,500 (£19,000), about half what a Giulietta Spider in good condition would usually go for.
With all this in mind, we have this advice to give: if you've recently restored a nice classic car and have a recently estranged, slightly unstable ex-partner, hide that car away. Now.
