The Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge Is The 568bhp GT-R-Engined Super Saloon You Now Want

Infiniti has revealed that its Q50 Eau Rouge concept packs the Nissan GT-R's 3.8-litre turbo V6 heart

We've seen Infiniti's Q50 Eau Rouge concept before, but now its powerplant has been revealed, and it's a damn good one: the 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 from the R35 Nissan GT-R. That means 568bhp and 442lb/ft of torque, 0-60mph in under four seconds and a top speed knocking on the door of 180mph. Power is sent to all wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

The concept is lower and wider than the standard Q50, and has a roof, front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser all made from carbonfibre.

There's still no word on a production version, but Infiniti is definitely thinking along the right lines if it's serious about unleashing a BMW M3 rival. To get an idea of what this thing sounds like, check out the video below.
