It's Official: The Grand Tour Will Get A Fourth Series
Remember when those rumours surfaced about The Grand Tour ending after series three? Jeremy Clarkson strongly denied that The Daily Mail’s claims had any truth to them, and sure enough, Amazon itself has now confirmed that series four is indeed happening.
But the show is in for a bit of a shake-up after series three. Having scrapped the travelling tent concept and put the makeshift studio in one fixed spot since series two, Clarkson, Hammond and May will be abandoning canvas altogether for series four. “Season four will see the guys ditch the tent and take on big adventure road trips,” Amazon said.
This sounds like rather good news, doesn’t it? In the Top Gear days, the three presenters were arguably at their best when doing big road trips to amazing locations with cool cars, so we could be in for a treat when S4 comes along.
As for series three, that’ll be kicking off on 18 January 2019, and featuring a muscle car group test (yes, that does include the Dodge Demon), a big road trip with old pickup trucks - giving us some idea for what’s in store the following season - and one segment involving drifting on an ice track shaped like a penis…

Basically, TGT will be going by the same no-studio format the later seasons of Top Gear USA went. This should be interesting.
I wrote about this 24 hours ago when it was first announced…..
