Jaguar’s upcoming BMW 3-series competitor has already been endlessly teased up until this point, but despite the car getting its proper reveal in London tonight, the British marque obviously couldn’t resist tantalising the public a little further.
Not Kent. Anyone know why there's a helicopter carrying a car currently hovering over Tower Bridge in London? pic.twitter.com/xT0UqVYAao

To do that, the new ‘baby’ Jag was taken to its launch event via helicopter, and it was spotted by numerous Londoners en-route.

The new Jaguar features an all-aluminium monocoque chassis, and will receive a range of 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engines, with sub-100g/km emissions promised for some models. More interesting to us is the prospect of the F-Type’s shouty V6 making an appearance under the bonnet.
Keep an eye out on Car Throttle later today for the full reveal.
