Jay Kay's New LaFerrari Is Kermit The Frog's Ideal Ride
With only 499 ever being built, dropping £1m on a LaFerrari hypercar is a sure-fire way to get hold of an incredibly rare car. However, Jamiroquai frontman and well-known petrolhead Jay Kay clearly wants to stand out from the crowd even more, as he’s specced his LaFerrari in ‘Kermit Green,’ rather than the red, yellow or black shades seen on most LaFerraris. It’s not just the outside, either, the interior also features the same shade of green.
Jay Kay is a serial Ferrari owner, and has a 330 GT shooting brake in the same colour, and a black Enzo with a green interior.
The LaFerrari produces a combined 950bhp from a mid-mounted 6.3-litre V12 and F1-style kinetic energy recovery system. It’ll do 0-62mph in under three seconds, and has a top speed in excess of 217mph.
