Ken Block Has Been Testing His New 600bhp Ford Focus RS Rallycross Machine And It Sounds Immense
Those who watched Ken Block’s Gymkhana Eight right to the end were treated to a sneak preview of Ford’s new Focus RS Rallycross Machine, the RX. Details were scarce when the video was released, with Ford only willing to release computer-generated images of the car. But now, thanks to the wonders of social media, we can see the RX in full testing specification.
Block has been uploading images of the RX on his personal Instagram account. It sounds absolutely incredible and Ford has confirmed that the specially designed Rallycross machine is producing upwards of 600bhp from its 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine, allowing the Focus to achieve a 0-60mph time of under 2.0 seconds; necessary, if Ford is going to beat Sebastien Loeb and his ridiculously quick Peugeot 208 in the 2016 FIA World Rallycross championship.
We hope that Block releases some in-depth videos soon, but for the time being, we’ll have to make do with these pornographic images.
