This Koenigsegg CCX Is The Ultimate Used Car Daydream

We might be overdue a more affordable classifieds' car in this feature, but before we put an attainable motor under the spotlight, we thought we'd go completely the other way. Inspired by the Koenigsegg autobahn thrash we saw earlier today, we thought we'd see how much cash you need to be packing to get one of the Swedish manufacturer's sweet used rides.

A lot, it unsurprisingly turns out. This supercar dealer, which has one of the most drool-worthy stocklists we've ever seen, has a CCX for sale with just 2300 miles on the clock. There's no price listed on the website, but it's listed elsewhere for a scarily high £780,000 ($1.2m).

So what does over three-quarters of a million British pounds buy you? Power. And a lot of it, too: 806bhp from the mid-mounted, twin-supercharged 4.7-litre V8. Bury your foot in the throttle, and you'll see 0-62mph in 3.2 seconds, 0-124mph in 9.8 seconds, and a top speed of over 245mph.

The most impressive stat of all is the 0-124-0mph time, which is just 14 seconds. Though we imagine such immense acceleration and deceleration forces would do rather unattractive things to your face.
