This Koenigsegg Crash Test Video Is Morbidly Compulsive Viewing
Sometimes we bring you the odd Euro NCAP crash test score or two, where itâs something slightly better than the usual bore-fest of men in suits nodding sagely at clipboards. Today we can bring you something brilliant.
Feast your ocular orbs on some artfully edited crash test footage from Koenigsegg. What has to be the most exotic crash test video weâve ever seen shows the Swedish firmâs wares, including the Agera, going under the hammer. Literally, people can be seen whacking the shell with hammersâŚ

The cars also bear the ugly brunt of front, front corner, side and rear impacts, as well as potential real-world mishaps like bumping up kerbs head-on and dropping into Russian-grade, splitter-shredding potholes.
The Instagram video was released to mark the companyâs million-follower milestone on the social media site. We canât seem to stop watching it, just like with the ADAC Lego Porsche 911 footage from earlier this yearâŚ

Cracking Eggs is pretty satisfying tbh
😂😂😂
AlasâŚ.All the Kingâs horses and all the Kingâs men could not put Koenigsegg back together againâŚ.
You should drive it
They call it a âcrash testâ for a reason.
They need to crash it or nobody can drive it.
Is it unmanly to admit to crying?
No, it makes you look human
Interestingly Ive never seen videos of other hypercars like the Chiron or the P1 go through crash testing.
Because the Euro NCAP test expects them to do badly, and considers putting such rare cars to the test irrelevant and expensive
Watching that was⌠Painful
Someone from Europe please explain what is the scientific purpose of hitting the car with a hammer? Surely there is a more⌠uh⌠precise way to test whatever it is theyâre measuring unless they are measuring how well it stands up to a track day with Jennifer Clarkson
These are not Euro Ncap crash tests but Koenigseggs own thing. So⌠No clue! :D
Wait, that tire crash seems familiarâŚ
Theyâre crash testing them so that the noobs in NFS Payback multiplayer donât die crashing.
Still gets a better score than the FIAT Punto
i would like to see a 200mph crash test, see if the people inside would survive
