Koenigsegg's test driver hammering an MX-5 around the ring...
I should imagine you don’t get to be Koenigsegg’s factory test driver without having a bit of proven talent. This video is an insight into just how talented Robert Serwanski is as he runs a lap on the Nürburgring in his two litre NC MX-5.
At 3.07 check out his entry into the S from the straight. Then watch it again for the picture-in-picture and see just how calm he is right on that knife edge…
His time here is 07:58.07 with traffic that includes a Porsche 911 GT3 getting in the way of Serwanski after initially blowing past him on a straight.

Its handling like an MX-5 Cup car around there.
Have we found a new stig for The Grand Tour?
You have “Stig” and “The Grand Tour” in the same sentence….
INCOMING BBC LAWSUIT!!!!
Wow he actually battle a gt3 😱 amazing!
Porsche drivers ego = destroyed.
Wait, 7:58? Is that modified? That’s quicker than a Megane RS265…
The main straight is not being taken into time trial. See for yourself when lap starts and when it ends. Some 30s in missing. On full track this is around 8:30 lap (with traffic ofcourse).
Proof that it’s not what you drive, it’s how you drive it.
Until you put a great driver in a great car. My brain is having flashbacks of that chris harris video with the delta, 037, and the stratos
At about 4:00, I’ pretty sure Robert Serwański said: ‘No spierniczaj koleś’
Which means roughly: ‘Get lost, dude’/ ‘ Get the f* out, dude’, but it’s rather in between of those two translations (it;s no that bad curse in Polish).
you got it right, pretty much “jvla svenne flytta dig” which bascially translate to what you said but to be picky “f**ing swede, move”
Another proof that you can’t buy talent…
If you can’t drive a slow car fast, giving you a fast car is pointless.
You just took my post and got to principal page…
Thanks CT.
I don’t work for CT. Didn’t see your post either. It’s rather a popular video.
