Back in the '80s, the Lamborghini Countach was the ultimate pin-up supercar. Its sharp lines, exaggerated bulges and cartoon styling made it the perfect symbol of playboy excess.

A few decades on the styling has lost none of its drama, so when we were informed of this brand new, delivery-mileage example we just had to know more.

Classic Driver has unearthed this showroom condition 25th Anniversary Edition Countach. The car has 116 miles (187 kilometres) on the clock, which were driven by Lambo test drivers before delivery. Once it arrived with its new owner in 1990, it was never driven again.

But fear not, this pristine pin-up did not sit gathering dust in a forgotten corner of a barn. It was immediately placed in a climate-controlled environment, and has been checked on a monthly basis. From time to time, the interior gets a spruce up, but aside from that it is untouched by the grubby mitts of mere mortals.

So, when this time-warp Countach goes up for auction, how much can you expect to pay? Standard-mileage examples are being sold in the region of £150,000, so for a delivery-mileage example you can expect that to at least double.

So that's £300,000 for a brand new, genuine '80s icon? It's got to be worth it.
