Leaked Details Of The New 911 GT3 RS Indicate 500bhp And PDK Only

If this leaked document is anything to go by, there won't be a manual option for the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS

The guys at Axis Of Oversteer have got their mitts on the equipment list for the forthcoming Porsche 911 GT3 RS, and the big news for purists is that there appears to be no manual option.

If the information in the image above is accurate, the RS will have a 4.0-litre flat-six with 494bhp and 340lb ft of torque. Those horses are sent through the rear wheels via a seven-speed PDK transmission, and it doesn’t look like buyers will have the option of a manual. The track will also be 36mm wider than the GT3. The faster 911 gets bigger wheels; 20-inch at the front, 21-inch at the rear.

We’ll be at the Geneva motor show in a week’s time, where the GT3 RS could finally get a proper public unveiling.
