This Limited Edition Xbox Controller Is Inspired By The Porsche 911 GT2 RS

If you desperately want a 911 GT2 RS but can't afford to buy one, this may be your next best bet

The Porsche 911 GT2 RS recently set a record-breaking lap time at the Nordschleife, instantly putting it into ‘legendary’ territory. However, like all special versions of the 911, many will likely be snapped by investors and sold on at a massively inflated price.

Don’t panic if you want one though, because for just $299.95 you can buy your own GT2 RS…inspired Xbox One controller.

That’s right. Porsche has collaborated with SCUF Gaming and Turn 10 studios to produce this limited-edition controller in for the release of Forza Motorsport 7, which of course the car features in.

The silver with black and red highlights is meant to mirror the interior of the real car, and for the same reason, it also features some lovingly hand-stitched Alcantara on the back.

The controller goes on sale on 7 October, but if you want one you’ll have to move fast because just 2500 will be made. 2000 of them will just be the regular controller, priced at $299.95, while the other 500 come as part of a bundle costing $365.95 and feature some customisable parts, as well as a scale model of the car.

That’s pretty expensive for a controller (we’re thinking that $300 would get you a pretty good wheel), but it’s a good couple of hundred grand less than you’ll pay for a real GT2 RS, so if you look at it like that, it’s an absolute bargain!

It’s a SCUF Gaming controller. It’s expensive by default (120 USD) and not related to Microsoft. I get what your saying, though.
