A Load Of Nissan Skylines Were Lost In A Devastating Warehouse Fire
If you’re in the business of keeping large stocks of rare and coveted cars under cover, a fire is pretty much your worst nightmare. A good example of why is what happened to US company International Vehicle Importers, which told The Drive that it had lost 24 cars in a devastating warehouse fire in Ontario, California. Given that Nissan Skylines are a speciality of IVI, it’s suspected that a fair few GT-Rs are among the casualties.
The fire started on the evening of 1 May, and is thought to have originated in an illegal grow house next door. Only a “small portion” of the company’s US stock was affected by the blaze.
Unfortunately though, the fire claimed the lives of two dogs named Max Morris and Gigi Morris, which I’m sure you’ll agree is much sadder news than the loss of the cars.
