Looks like we're going to raise a lot of money for charity! #SavePhil

A few days ago, a friend and I came up with a way to #SavePhil, and it involved bringing the whole Car Throttle community together. We visited Alex and the guys at Car Throttle on Friday to let them know our plan, and I’ve honestly never seen a man more excited about seeing his car again!

With the greenlight from Car Throttle to go ahead with it, we put together an Indiegogo campaign to help #SavePhil and bring him back home. We all knew that the community would pitch in a little over the next few weeks, but we had totally underestimated you guys.

In less than a day, you guys have totally exceeded our expectations. Not only have we hit our target of £500, but we’re now sitting at £702.

Now that we’ve raised over £500, we’re certainly looking forward to rescuing Phil, but right now we’re even more excited that we’ve raised £202 so far for the Make a Wish Foundation.

The whole idea of the campaign was to bring the community together and to promote a strong community spirit amongst car enthusiasts like us.

It’s all about helping each other out in any way that you can, and you guys have shown how great the car community is.

Nobody is being obligated to donate, it’s just for fun! Alex didn’t even come up with the idea, it’s not as if he’s just expecting CarThrottle to pay for his stuff

Can’t wait for Phil to come back to UK, get back on the road and be featured in CT videos!
Also I’m really happy to see such a large sum being raised for Make a Wish.
I think that CT should do this kind charity fundraising occasionally, it is obvious that CT community is so strong that it takes just a couple of days to raise target money for charities. And carguys from CT will be known as people who help others, not just those who drive around in their noisy rides :)
