This, ladies and gents, is a VW Polo with a difference. For starters, it sits on coilovers, features a rusted bonnet with louvred vent, has a wood-vinyl-wrapped roof and even an induction kit. There’s also a JDM-spec drift steering wheel, Aerobars and a roof rack full of junk (I’m guessing that owner Tim - who also owns a supercharged Mk1 MX-5 - means his sanity when referring to said junk).

Anyway, this is a car that you’re either going to love or loathe. For the lovers among you, you’ll be pleased to know that the car is currently up for sale on eBay. The best bit about the auction, however, is that all proceeds will go to charity.

The Weldmar Hospice Trust specialises in palliative care for the elderly with life-threatening and terminal diseases, and is funded by charitable donations.
