Man Saves E30 M3 From Hurricane By Parking It In His House; Earns Legend Status
Picture the scene: there’s a massively destructive hurricane headed straight for your car. What do you do? If you’re anything like Instagrammer jalilsup, you put it in your lounge for safekeeping. No, really.
The Florida man refused to let Hurricane Matthew wreak havoc on his pristine BMW E30 M3, so drove it right through his front doors and parked it behind his sofa.
While the winds and rains raged outside, damaging the Daytona International Speedway and New Smyrna Speedway, among thousands of houses, trees, cars and more, Randy’s E30 was tucked up safely out of harm’s way.
The cute couple enjoyed an evening together before cuddling up for a sleepover, and the next morning the car was able to drive back out onto its ingenious owner’s front lawn.

Absolute hero.
I saw this on instagram and went LOLWUT?
Hope it doesnt leak
lol my good friend Taser showed me this privately, got it from MotorTrend, he says. But goddamn, that was real smart.
Whenever someone mentions a “loving home” when referring to a car, I always think of people who’d do this for them if given the chance, luckily he has a very wide front door and no steps to worry about, I wouldn’t even be able to ride a motorbike into my home without taking it apart first
I wonder. It’s in Florida, and the guy looks young. My father sold his E30 M3 when I was 4. And the guy kinda looks like the guy who bought it. Could this be my Fathers M3?
Ask for plates
I would too. E30’s are worth stupid money.
