The Detroit Auto Show is always full of tasty metal, but at the next event - taking place from 12 January 2015 - will see the debut of something particularly special: the new NSX. The eagle-eyed among you will notice those aren’t Honda badges: that’s because the NSX will be making its first appearance as an Acura. When it’s sold in Europe, it’ll be badged as a Honda. However, unless you’ve already put down a deposit, you won’t be able to buy one in the UK, because it’s already sold out. Boo.

When the NSX finally arrives, it’ll pack a V6 and an electric motor powering the rear wheels, an extra pair of motors for the front wheels, and a price tag similar to that of an Audi R8.
