McLaren's Porsche-Killing P13 Is A Poor Man's 12C
Woking sets its crosshairs on the Porsche 911 Turbo with upcoming sports car

Here are the first official details of the McLaren P13, the sports car that will fight the Porsche 911 Turbo head on from early 2015.
The Macca will have a twin-turbo 3.8-litre engine with 444bhp, essentially a detuned version of the MP4-12C's 616bhp V8. It will also feature McLaren's carbonfibre MonoCell chassis, which makes this an incredibly high-tech entry into the sports car market.
Its styling is said to be influenced by the P1 hybrid hypercar, so expect similar styling cues in a miniature package.
According to Autocar, the prices are expected to be around £120,000, which puts it on par with the Porsche 911 Turbo.
