This Merc' A-Class Goes Clothes Shopping So You Don't Have To
This is no ordinary Mercedes A-Class. In fact, this A-Class is about as far from ordinary as it’s possible to get.
It’s been modified by German e-tailer Zalando in partnership with the madmen at Rinspeed (who are responsible for some pretty ridiculous cars). But there are no crazy body-kits or lewd spoilers here.
iPads in the sun visors scan pedestrians to find out what they’re wearing. If you like their look, the car will place an order for the clothes it's identified, and have them delivered to wherever the car happens to be parked.
The delivery man is able to open the boot and stash the clothes inside a special compartment. There’s even a makeshift changing room that enables the driver to change outfits. We can’t see any problems with this whatsoever, ahem.
