A Mercedes-AMG E63 Coupe Will Look Spectacularly Good
I’m going to come clean: the version of the new E-Class coupe I’m most looking forward to is the intriguing straight-six hybrid E50, rather than the full fat AMG. After all, we haven’t seen anything like the E50 from Mercedes before, whereas the E63 coupe will be much the same as the E63 saloon under the skin.
However, it will look stonkingly good, as this render from CT friend X-Tomi Design proves. Take a good look and drink it all in: brilliantly aggressive yet classy, no?
As mentioned, it’ll have a lot in common with the E63 saloon, which means up to 603bhp from an updated version of AMG’s 4.0-litre V8, with fancier turbos than the lesser eight-banger found in the C63. Speaking of which, if the E63 saloon/coupe relationship follows the same ethos of the C63 range, the coupe will have a more aggressive suspension setup than the four-door featuring a wider track.
Expect it to be revealed at some point in 2017.
