Michael Schumacher’s Former Boss Says Latest News Is “Not Good”
Seven-time F1 world champion Michael Schumacher is continuing to recover from severe head injuries he sustained in a skiing accident in December 2013, however his former Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo told reporters in Italy on Thursday that the latest update on his condition is “not good”.
Schumacher is still receiving intensive treatment at his house in Switzerland following the accident, which happened just over two years ago in the French Alps.
Di Montezemolo (pictured above with Jean Todt) said:
“I have news and unfortunately it is not good. Life is strange. He was a fantastic driver and only had one accident with Ferrari in 1999.”
Todt, president of the FIA, said in November he is “still fighting”. While di Montezemolo and Schumacher worked together for many years at Ferrari, it is difficult to judge the context of his comments and he refused to elaborate on them.
Schumacher’s manager Sabine Kehm is the only person responsible for giving official updates on Schumacher’s health, and she refused to comment on di Montezemolo’s quotes when contacted by various news outlets.
The latest statement from Kehm was in May 2015, saying he was “making progress”, but that people “must always keep the seriousness of his injuries in mind”.

Really hoping and praying for Michael, and for his family. He is such a legend
Man, this sounds really grim but… If he’s gone, then R.I.P. You were, are and will still be a great great legend. You will lighten up the racing heaven. If he’s still with us, then keep fighting and fight hard!
Even though I am a very big fan of Michael, I still have something to complimenten about. A few months ago a very good friend of me passen away as the result of a car accident as a passenger. He too suffered from really bad brain damage. The doctors said they couldn’t mean much to him so historische parents had to ‘pull the plug’I think that if he was a famous person like Michael he would still be alife. But that because not many knewed him it doesn’t mean much. And that’s what bothers’s me.But still #keepfightingmichael
Sorry for my bad English. The autocorrect is a pain in the butt.

Oh man, he always will be one of the greatest drivers the sport has ever seen. #keepfightingmichael
