This Mint Condition Corvette ZR-1 Is A Chevy Guy's Dream Car

From time to time an absolute gem of a classic car is unearthed, and this mint condition C4 Corvette ZR-1 certainly falls into that category. Everything looks as it would have done the day it left the factory, and with just 127 miles on the clock you’d be hard-pushed to find any car from 1990 with lower mileage.

This ZR-1 saw production from 1990-1995, and was developed with a little help from Lotus. The British-based engineers worked their magic on the standard C4’s V8, and the result was a 5.7-litre 375hp beast of an engine - a decent performance figure even by today’s standards. Lotus also engineered an air management system, which shut off half of the fuel injectors and intake runners when the engine was at part throttle.

The car is up on eBay, but is currently below the reserve price. It’s also listed on the seller’s website at $47.995 (£31,622).
