Modifying Your S2000 Roof Like This Means You Must Really Hate Cars
Yesterday we were swooning over the clever roof on Porsche's new 911 Targa. Today though, we're looking at a slightly less clever roof from Honda tuners 'Spoon'.
This solid piece of aluminium with a plexiglass centre mounts in a similar manner to a regular hard-top, but leaves the back and sides of the car open. It looks ungainly and ridiculous, and we can't imagine why you'd want one on your S2000.
It's not like it will give you much in the way of weather protection with those open sides, and any safety advantages it gives over the soft-top could be achieved with rollover hoops. Plus, those slats don't look like they'd be pleasant on your skull should the worst happen.
If for whatever reason you're interested in this pointless device, it'll be available Autumn this year.
