MTM (Motoren Technik Mayer), a tuning company hailing from Bavaria, has announced their newest product: a tuning program for Bentley's Continental GT and derivatives. This includes the Continental GT/Speed, GTC/Speed, Flying Spur/Speed, and the Continental SuperSports.  The upgrades mainly focus on increased power, and thankfully leave the Conti's alluring body lines alone.  It's refreshing to find a tuner that doesn't feel the need to slap gaudy body parts on a beautiful car just because they've tweaked the motor.

MTM upgrades for the Continental's twin-turbo 6.0L W12 come in two flavors: hot and wild.  The first bumps output to 635bhp, and the second up to 650bhp as well as 795nM (568lb-ft) of torque.  To compensate for the extra shove, MTM also has suspension and brake upgrades for the heavy Crewes Missile - coilovers that drop the CGT 25mm front and 35mm rear, as well as massive 6-piston front calipers and ventilated rotors.

And isn't the Continental sitting pretty with the lowered suspension and those gorgeous 21" MTM Bimoto alloys?  It's a unique look for the Conti, a bit of Germanic solidity to mix with the Conti's fluid lines.  Clean and tasteful.

MTM says that with it's upgrades, the CGT is 3 seconds faster around the Hockenheim circuit, and accomplishes the 0-200km/h sprint 3 seconds faster than the stock, 552bhp model - at 15.9 seconds, it's right quick.  All this extra "oomph" comes at a price, though - about €20,000, or nearly $28,000.  Speed costs money - how fast do you want to go?
