My 13 favourite cars on the Serbian car scene
Being a small country located on the Balkan peninsula, there isnt a very large car community going on...but as small as it is, there are a fairly few really awesome cars driving on the streets, and I will show you my favourite ones.

Audi A4 1.9 TDI
With numerous modifications done on the AJM TDI block as a new crankshaft, pistons, nozzles, turbo and many others, this Audi A4 packs 311 horsepower. Along with that, add the S4 bodykit, a beautiful silver color and Work Roar wheels and you get a really breathtaking machine.
Peugeot 205 Rallye
This car has an intersting story. Jean Todt, the current President of FIA, in his early ages he created the Peugeot Talbot Sport sport team, which concluded the creation of this car, as an alternative to the 205 GTI. Instead of the regular 1.9 l engine, they used a TU24 motor and with the help of two weber carburetors achieved a modest figure of 103 hp. Put on some Peugeot Talbot sport rally colours, and with 794 kg of the car’s weight and you’ll get a real little rocket!
BMW E46
Unfortunately there isn’t much to say about this car, except the breathtaking AC Schnitzer bodykit put together beautifully with the paint and the rims.
Subaru Impreza WRX STI
Coming with the factory World Rally Blue colour and the gold rims, there isn’t much to say about the exterior of this car. On the inside, however we have a closed deck EJ20, 2.2 stroker, 2.5 crankshaft, Carillo connecting rods, Wiseco pistons, Spec C heads, Kelford camshafts, Cosworth oil pumps and the list goes on and on… the end result is 480 hp on 1.6 bar and E85 fuel.
Volkswagen Golf MK2
A puny 1781 ccm 66KW engine, but put very well with a Dark Burgundy pearleffect colour and Milka purple BBS RS rims and you have a really eye catching MK2.
Yugo 55
A lot of Yugos roam the streets of Serbia, but none of which as badass as this one. Laying on very rare 13 inch Allegrini wheels and carrying the engine from a Yugo Florida 1.4 l, this little guy is really one of a kind…
Porsche 964 Turbo
Maybe my favourite on this list, this 911 was a originally 1992 turbo model with a few modifications. Rinspeed rims, Porsche GT 2 spoiler with a RWB wing are the exterior characteristics of this car. This car was made for drag racing, and having a turboed 3.3 engine pushing 630 horsepower and 680 Nm of torque is no joke. With 1270 kgs, a 6 speed manual gearbox it reaches 0-100 km/h in 3,8s and clears 402m in 11,46 seconds.
BMW E30
This livery adorned the E30 M3 in its most succesful years in DTM championships and 24h races where wins came one after another, from Portugal to Japan. Although this isn’t an M3, I cant say it doesnt deserve this livery. Packing a M30B35 engine with 211+ hp, its not to be underestimated. Rolling on white BMW Style 32 rims, it really is a sight to the eyes to see this car in public.
BMW M3 E30
The DTM style mirrors, Hamann wheels, and the EVO rear wing give this car the appropriate dose of agression. One of the rarest cars on the roads of Serbia, and fairly one of if not the best BMW on the road as well…
Nissan 200SX S14
Coming with beautiful JDM wheels, this fairly stock SR20DET powered Kouki still breaks necks to all true petrolheads while seeing it on the road. A true S chassis icon and the most agressive looking one of them all makes it my favourite as well.
Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX
This completely stock road going rally car isnt so special on the modding side so there isnt pretty much anything to write. But it being my favourite car of all time, it just had to make this list.
Opel Corsa RS
Small as it is, its one of the most powerful cars in the country. Having a rear engine layout and packing a V6 twin turbo and a nitrous kit - its pushing right around 1000 horsepower. The suspension is heavily modified as well as the rest of the car, so that it can handle the sheer monstrues power it produces.
Mercedes C63 AMG
For me the absolute best Merc ever made is the C63. This particular one is pushing around 600 horsepower. For all that power it needs some serious stopping power as well, which is provided with the SLS AMG’s brakes, Nurburgring set up KW Clubsport coilovers and many other modifications. Without question the most awesome Benz in the country.
Credits to bud3.net - providing the pictures and information about these cars. Also, all the information about these cars are from when they were photographed. I heard some of them had built up their horsepower nubmers, but without accurate information I am unable to transcend true numbers.
