The New Ford F-150 Raptor Will Be A 444bhp, 510lb ft Slice Of 'Murica
A loud-mouthed Ford dealer has exposed some performance figures for the latest generation of the Blue Oval’s best-selling truck, and they make for some scrumptious reading. The performance variant of the F-150 truck is to be released next year, using the basic 3.5-litre EcoBoost V6 block that will feature in a modified sense in the new Ford GT.
According to the figures - published in the form of a screen grab of a spec list on an owner’s forum - the Raptor will pump out 444bhp and 510lb ft of torque, a significant jump over the standard truck’s 375bhp and 470lb ft figures. This will give the Raptor a towing capacity of around 3600kg. Prices meanwhile start at around $50,000.
Ford is yet to announce the exact date for when the order books open to customers, but it’s fairly safe to say that the Raptor will be a massive hit in theUnited States.

Hold up for a sec, why isn’t there a Raptor with the 662 hp GT500 engine?
What could go wrong?
