New Gran Turismo Sport Gameplay Shows Off Nurburgring At Night

Sony and Polyphony Digital have shared a brand new teaser of Gran Turismo Sport for Gamescom 2017, showing off gameplay of the iconic Nurburgring being raced at night

Gran Turismo Sport hasn’t had the biggest presence at Gamescom this year, but that doesn’t mean Sony and Polyphony Digital haven’t treated us to some stunning-looking gameplay from the up-coming racing title.

The teaser showcases night racing at the legendary ‘Green Hell’, revealing the variety of light sources in the game – from headlights to brake lights, and even the lighting from spectators and campers at the side of the circuit itself.

Alongside the GT Sport gameplay reveal, we’ve also found out that there’s a new limited edition, GT-themed PlayStation 4 coming out. The 1TB system includes the GT logo, exclusive silver faceplate and a customised wireless controller.

It’ll be released to coincide with GT Sport hitting the shelves on the 18 October and will be available across the UK, Europe, Australia and Asia. The console is part of a bundle that includes a ‘Day 1’ edition of the game, with $250,000 in-game credit, stickers, a chrome racing helmet and 60 PS4 avatars.

Gamers don’t have to go for the full combo either. They can buy the controller separately, or the controller and the game, or the whole lot all together. The standard copy of the game can also be selected, and there’s a jet-black console version available in 1TB and 500GB variations.

Apparently, those who are interested will have to “check local retailers for further details regarding price and stock availability” but the 1TB limited-edition console is listed by GAME for £299.99.

When graphics in video games are better in real life…

I once went outside. The graphics were amazing but the gameplay and storyline sucked.

All I can say is this game better be good. It’s been 4 years since the last GT, meanwhile it seems like a new Forza game comes out every month.

Forza gets out every two years. Forza Horizon gets in between each year there isn’t a real Forza coming out.
