New Kia Stonic Crossover Is Like A Nissan Juke But Less Ugly
Another day, another crossover. This one’s a Kia, and we think it’s quite a looker. It’s called the Stonic, which kind of reminds us of Sonic the Hedgehog. Maybe that’s the idea.
With a choice of three small-ish petrol engines and a 1.6-litre diesel, Stonic owners won’t be moving as fast as Sega’s favourite spiny mammal. But Kia promises that it’ll be decent to drive, with agile handling and a sporty ride.
As with a lot of small crossovers, you get personalisation aplenty. 20 two-tone colours will be available, and five colours can be specced for the roof. The optional individuality continues inside, with all the colour packs you could probably want. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard fit, which is nice.
Kia says that compact crossover sales are expected to double to more than two million a year by 2020. It’s no wonder, then, that the Stonic is set to be one of the company’s biggest sellers.
The Stonic will go on sale in the autumn, and will feature Kia’s seven-year warranty.
This, or a Juke?

Its name is stonic, but one thing i know is that it aint stunning!!
Exterior is nice, interior is a bit bland (same deal with the new Hyundai Kona)
Who are you to tell which car is ugly?! This kid with 20 years old honda civic? Are this haters for real?
I feel sorry ..
Try Juke Sl , pearl white , full sport package..
Kias/Hyundais all remind me of cars from GTA, they’re “unique”, but people with an eye for cars can pick out which bits are basically copied from real cars.
Juuuuuuuke!!!
stoner?
… Less Ugly? How did you come to this statement
Its less ugly, but it still is
I hate crossovers and all they stand for…but I have to admit, I like the Stonic’s styling
