New McLaren 570GT:

The 570GT is the Grand Tourer, softer variant of the new 570S sports car. Has the same performance like the 570S , the GT uses McLaren’s turbocharged 3.8-liter V8 engine that produces 562 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. Sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed “seamless shift” transmission, it is good for 0 to 62 mph in 3.4 seconds, 0 to 124 mph in 9.8 seconds and a top speed of 204 mph. 570GT has an estimated combined fuel economy of 19 mpg.

Biggest change from S to GT is found in the mid-rear of the car. Instead of a view of the V8 engine through the back window, you’ll see a new leather-lined luggage touring deck. Adding over 12 cubic feet of storage.

As you can see, it has a quite large and usable compartment. Perfect for long distance weekend drive, where you have to carry some luggage.

Panoramic glass roof which now comes as standard, has been given a coating of Sound & Solar Film (SSF) that blocks not just the sun’s radiation but also additional wind noise. It has a more luxurious and quieter cabin, with an optional 12-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system. It’s also more comfortable, due to The quieter exhaust, And the steering ratio is 2% slower than the 570S.
