Just in case Lamborghini’s in-your-face SUV wasn’t lairy enough, Novitec’s new widebody kit should do the trick
Novitec Has Somehow Made The Lamborghini Urus Performante Even Gaudier

It’s not unreasonable to call the Lamborghini Urus Performante the most ostentatious SUV out there. In fact, that’s pretty much the point of it. However, in case you’re worried the V8 brute might somehow fly under the radar, a tuner has the solution for you.

This is the Novitec Esteso Widebody which, as the name suggests, gives the Urus a pretty girthy bodykit. The front is 10cm wider than before, with the rear gaining 12cm thanks to stick-on plastic arches and side-skirt extensions.

Witness the new front bumper, not one but two spoilers and an exaggerated rear diffuser, too, although we’re not sure it’ll do any real diffusing. There’s a new exposed carbon fibre bonnet, which Novitec will paint for you if you wish, but we think that defeats the purpose.

A lowering kit brings the gigantic bull 2.5cm closer to the ground, with spacers available to let the 23-inch centre-locking wheels better fill those extended arches.

To Novitec’s credit, they haven’t just slapped some extra panels on and called it a day. There’s extra grunt from the 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 (not that we think it needed it with 657bhp and 627lb ft of torque from the factory). With a remap and a new exhaust system, output is ramped up to 771bhp and 761lb ft.

The exposed carbon bonnet can be painted, but why would you?

That’s claimed to allow for a 0-62mph sprint of 3.1 seconds, down from 3.3 stock, with top speed rising by 3mph to 193mph. Not that either will make much difference in the centre of Dubai.

You can either have the Esteso Widebody as a complete package, or Novitec will sell you the bits individually. No pricing has been published, though we imagine ‘a lot’ will suffice.
