Paul Walker’s death on 30 November 2013, shook the automotive community. While most of us tried to come to terms with losing a much-loved human being, one man allegedly sprung into action and stole seven of the late F&F star’s cars.

Walker’s estate is suing Richard Taylor, the man who is said to have been responsible for maintaining ownership and registration paperwork for the huge collection of cars. The complaint alleges that within 24 hours of the actor’s death, “persons affiliated with [Taylor] went to a storage facility in Valencia, California, which housed numerous of Walker’s vehicles and removed those vehicles from that facility.” It goes on to claim other vehicles owned by Walker that weren’t stored in that facility are in Taylor’s possession, and that he also has registration certificates for some cars that he hasn’t handed over.

The suit alleges that Taylor sent an inventory of the cars owned by Walker to his estate, including 31 cars owned by Walker, and one car he jointly owned with Roger Rodas, however a number of cars were left off the list. Walker’s estate claims to have repeatedly requested information for the missing cars, as well as cars that Taylor was looking after at the time of Walker’s death, however he has “intentionally and fraudulently concealed the existence and location of such vehicles…in order to wrongfully convert such vehicles for his own use or benefit.” Furthermore, it is claimed Taylor has used his possession of the vehicles and certificates to “extort money” from Walker’s family.

The estate is suing for the return of the vehicles, which include a 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS and a 2008 BMW M3, or the value of the vehicles if they cannot be recovered, as well as compensation.
