The film that started off the love it or hate it Fast and Furious franchise, the one we mock and adore in equal measure, turns 15 this year. Since that’s rather a long time ago, a lot of fans would have been too young to see it in the cinema at the time. Or have even been born yet.

Happily, those that missed out will get a chance to see classic scenes such as “tuna, no crust” and “doesn’t matter if it’s an inch or a mile…” played out on the big screen, as for the 15th anniversary, The Fast and the Furious will be getting a limited re-release. Tickets are on sale now, and it’ll be shown in 1500 theatres across the United States on 22 June. Yep, unfortunately it looks like those of us outside America will miss out, but we’ll let you know if we find out otherwise.

I don’t get it. Why pay 10 bucks for going to the theatre when you can order the DVD for half that much? I mean, it’s not like the film had exceptionally good visuals and sound to justify that and it’s not even a rework.

It’s for the die hard fans that followed it from the beginning. Honestly here in the States the fast and the furious got alot of people in the car scene. Personally I’m driving an hour to go see it.

This will be the time when all of FnF fans will go out and say “Why the hell were there so many cars and racing in that movie?! Completely out of character for the series!”

I’d totally see this movie again in the theater, 90% of the movies that come out are garbage.

I think F&F 4 was right behind if not equal to 3. They both focus on street racing, and none of the cars were rice (Leaving out Twinkie’s van)
