Since we’ve had a potato pic taken at a private customer event and a low res press shot appearing days later, it was already tempting to make some tortured analogy about the incoming DB11 reveal being leakier than the Titanic. And now we have yet another image leak, and it’s far more substantial the last two.

This time, we have a series of high-resolution press images - leaked via Car Scoops - that show the DB9 replacement from every angle. They show a much more imposing car than the old DB9, with influences from the DBX crossover and James Bond’s own DB10.

Details are still thin on the ground, but it’s expected to be powered by Aston Martin’s new 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12, which should produce in the region of 600bhp. There are no images of the interior just yet. It’s inside the cabin that we’re hoping for the biggest improvements over the current Aston Martin stable, where every car features an old and clunky infotainment system.

The Dakov

Lovely! It’s the kind of shape that never reveals its beauty in photos. I’m sure it will be even more breathtaking in person. Don’t like the wheels though.

For it to be considered a performance car, it needs a modern gearbox, unlike aston’s form the past.
