An Overzealous Traffic Camera Snapped This Car's Shadow
A Russian driver has complained to traffic police after his car's shadow set of a traffic camera, leading to a fine being incorrectly issued
We all fear that moment when we open up the morning’s post to find a nasty driving fine hidden among the bills and takeaway pizza menus. However, when a man in Russia discovered one such infraction, accusing him of crossing a solid white line, he knew he wasn’t guilty. Why? Because that white line in question was crossed only by his Honda CR-V’s shadow, which for whatever reason managed to set an overeager traffic camera off.
He posted the fine’s accompanying photo (above) on website Drive.ru, clearly showing he’d done nothing wrong. He stated that he’s made a complaint on the traffic police website, and is awaiting a response.
Something tells us this should be an easy fine to get out of…

TRIGGERED

The other side of the road has already progressed to the next stage.
