Royal Navy Officer and PE Teacher Talan Skeels Piggins was left paralysed after a head-on road traffic accident. Undeterred, he now races a specially adapted superbike in the Thundersport championship

I have seen 2 paralyzed motobike racers in a dutch amatuer endurance cup, 1 of the guys dragged his foot across the tarmac a few laps, leaving a nasty wound and having to go to hospital, his reaction “ah man, now i have to buy new boots!”

What an inspiration
