Paul Walker's Daughter Has Settled With Porsche Over Her Father's Death

The daughter of the car world’s beloved Paul Walker has settled her lawsuit with Porsche out of court.

Meadow Walker had been suing Porsche over her father’s untimely death in 2013, citing known instability issues in the Carrera GT in which he was a passenger, and claiming that he was only killed because the seatbelt jammed and trapped him inside the burning car.

A US judge found last year that the latter claim was unfounded and that Porsche wasn’t at fault, but the former ‘wrongful death’ argument was ongoing. We don’t know what sort of terms or sums of money are involved, but both Porsche and Meadow Walker have requested that the suit be dropped after an agreement was reached on October 16, according to The Blast.

Last year Meadow Walker won a $10.1 million settlement with the estate of Roger Rhodas, the driver who lost control of the Carrera GT in which Walker senior was riding.

I hate to say this, but it almost seems like she’s taking advantage of her father’s death to get rich. Or she’s not willing to accept that what happened could have been a genuine accident, and wants to pin the blame on everyone she can, since the one responsible also died in the crash.

And Porsche had to issue the 911 Carrera T model to pay for it.

This is incredible, especially from a law student’s point of view. Clearly Porsche just did it to get her to go away already because they would have definitely won

Did you read? It was not Porsche’s fault. That is like saying banging your head against a door, then suing the door company for making it “Too strong”. It is an ongoing argument but i find it a sleezy way of claiming bullshit. I like PW as much as the next guy, but come on. She won a settlement of over 10 million from the driver’s family and the estate? Like he planned to kill himself and paul all along, this sueing shit is so rubbish sometimes.

They knew that everybody loves Paul Walker so they did it because they didn’t wanna damage their company’s reputation.

The fact that she also sued Roger Rhodas’ family immediately after the accident is pretty petty. I understand he was the driver, but it’s not like he was this random dude. AFAIK he was a friend.

It’s just for the money not because she loves her father, and Roger died as well. why didn’t his family sue her because her father was a passenger in the car.
