Paul Walker's Fast And Furious GT-R Is Now For Sale For 1M Euros
The only Nissan Skyline GT-R to survive the filming of Fast & Furious is up for sale in Germany.
The blue GT-R was driven by the movie's main character Brian O'Connor, played by Paul Walker. Following his death, the price has been raised from 300,000 euros to a cool 1,000,000 euros (£840k/$1.375m).
Importing a Skyline is illegal in America, so seven R34 GT-Rs were shipped to the States without an engine and were then rebuilt, which classified them as kit cars to bypass the law. Of the seven imported cars, all but one were destroyed during filming.
In 2009, GT-R owners were forced to export their cars as the government cracked down on imported vehicles, raiding importers and giving them 60 days to sell their stock. This one ended up at the GT-A restoration shop in Munich, Germany.
Befitting a car from Fast & Furious, this Skyline has a long list of modifications, including a Turbonetics front-mounted intercooler, Nismo lowering springs and a custom roll cage. Whether these mods and the Paul Walker connection make it worth 1,000,000 euros remains to be seen.
